FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What exactly is Sticky Ricky?

An outbound layer for email sequencers. It plugs into the sequencer you already run — Instantly, Smartlead, lemlist, Reply.io, or Woodpecker — and adds SMS steps and AI-powered calling to the same sequences, with every touch threaded on one lead timeline.

Is Sticky Ricky a CRM replacement?

No — deliberately not. You keep your sequencer and your CRM. Ricky sits beside them, adds the channels email can't reach, and syncs replies, bookings, and call outcomes back to your stack.

Which email sequencers does it work with?

Instantly, Smartlead, lemlist, Reply.io, and Woodpecker out of the box with two-way sync. Running something custom? The API and webhooks cover it.

How does the SMS step work?

Drop an SMS step anywhere in your sequence, exactly like an email step. Ricky sends from your provisioned numbers, replies land in the unified inbox threaded next to the emails, and a reply on any channel stops every channel at once.

What is an SMS segment?

Carriers bill texts in segments: roughly 160 characters for plain text, or 70 characters when a message includes emoji or special characters. Longer messages use multiple segments. Plans include a monthly allowance, then per-segment overage.

How does the AI dialer work?

Ricky's voice agent calls the leads you route to it, qualifies against your script, handles common brush-offs, books meetings on your calendar, and can live-transfer a hot lead to a human mid-call. Every call is recorded and transcribed onto the lead.

Can a human jump into an AI call?

Yes. When the AI detects a hot lead, it bridges a rep into the call in real time. You only talk to people ready to talk.

Where do the phone numbers come from?

Each plan includes provisioned numbers with local-presence options. 10DLC brand and campaign registration is handled for you during onboarding — Vice City plans get priority provisioning.

Is this compliant with TCPA and 10DLC rules?

Ricky handles the mechanical side: 10DLC registration, automatic opt-out processing across every channel, and quiet-hours enforcement. You remain responsible for having a lawful basis to contact your leads — see the Terms.

What happens if I go over my plan limits?

Nothing stops. Extra usage bills at your plan's overage rates: $0.03 / $0.025 / $0.02 per SMS segment and $0.35 / $0.30 / $0.25 per AI minute on Neon Nights / Ocean Drive / Vice City respectively.

Can I change plans later?

Yes — upgrade or downgrade any time, and your numbers come with you.

How do I get access?

Early access rolls out in waves. Leave your email and you'll get an invite when your crew is up.
