PRIVACY POLICY

1. Who we are

Sticky Ricky ("we", "us") provides an outbound communication layer that adds SMS and AI-assisted calling to email sequencing tools. This policy explains what personal data we handle, why, and the choices you have. Contact: speedboat@getstickyricky.com.

2. Data we collect from visitors

This website is a static site. We do not run analytics trackers or advertising pixels, and we set no cookies of our own. If you submit your email for early access, we store it to contact you about the product. Fonts are served by Google Fonts, which may log requests per Google's privacy policy.

3. Data we collect from customers

When you create an account we collect your name, work email, company details, and billing information (processed by a payment provider — we do not store full card numbers). We also collect configuration data such as connected integrations and campaign settings, and service telemetry such as delivery and usage metrics.

4. Lead data you process through the Service

To operate the outbound layer we process, on your behalf, the lead data you connect or upload: names, contact details, message content, call audio, recordings, and transcripts. For this data you are the controller and we act as a processor — we use it only to provide the Service, never to build advertising profiles or to market to your leads ourselves.

5. How we use data

• To provide and operate the Service: sending messages, placing calls, transcription, threading, reporting.
• To meet carrier and regulatory requirements, including 10DLC registration and opt-out processing.
• To secure, debug, and improve the Service.
• To communicate with you about your account and the product.

6. Sharing

We share data only with subprocessors needed to run the Service — telephony carriers, cloud hosting, transcription and AI-voice providers, payment processors, and the third-party tools you explicitly connect (your sequencer, calendar, or CRM). We do not sell personal data.

7. Retention

Account data is kept while your account is active. Lead data, recordings, and transcripts are retained per your plan settings and deleted or made exportable on termination within a reasonable period. We keep only what law or accounting requires beyond that.

8. Security

Data is encrypted in transit, access is role-restricted, and credentials for connected integrations are stored encrypted. No system is perfectly secure — report concerns to speedboat@getstickyricky.com.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live (e.g., GDPR in the EU/UK, CCPA/CPRA in California), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Email us and we'll act on verified requests within the legally required timeframe. If you are a lead who received outreach sent by one of our customers, we will route your request to that customer and help them honor it — replying STOP to any SMS opts you out immediately across channels.

10. International transfers

Where data crosses borders we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses with our subprocessors.

11. Children

The Service is for business use and not directed at anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect children's data.

12. Changes

We'll post updates to this policy here with a new "last updated" date, and flag material changes to account holders by email.
